After the parade, head down to North Beach and stake out your favorite spot to watch Racine's spectacular fireworks! Bring along a blanket and a picnic basket and kick back until dusk. The annual fireworks show can be seen up and down the Lake Michigan shoreline. The 4th Fest of Greater Racine fireworks are sponsored by The City of Racine and Festival Foods Fireworks.
The fireworks start after the sun sets and the skies are dark on Saturday, July 4, 2026. Typically, that is right after 9:00pm but this can vary based on the weather and the decisions of the fireworks company.
Can't make the fireworks in person? The 2026 fireworks will be broadcast on Channel 24 (My24). The broadcast will start at 9:00pm.
If there is serious weather warnings or inclement weather, the fireworks could be cancelled. The fireworks may be rescheduled a few days later. All decisions may be last minute. Watch the official Racine 4th Fest Facebook page for information.
The fireworks can be viewed from many places along the lake front or at the top of the hill along Michigan Boulevard. There are many excellent views! Please watch for 'no parking' placards and follow all 'no parking' rules. There is street parking available in the neighborhood(s) surrounding North Beach. It gets busy, so be prepared to walk a bit. Please be courteous to those who live in the area.
The Kids Cove Playground at North Beach closes at 3:00pm.
Handicap parking is available at North Beach. In an effort to be more accessible, on parade day the number of handicap parking spaces increases to 22, triple the number available any other day of the year. These spaces are first come, first served with a valid placard. Once the spaces are full, vehicles will be directed to park with the general public.
